this past summer my brother went to rehab, after years of abusing drugs such as K2. I regularly would visit him in the hospital wasting all my paychecks on gas so I could do the 2 hour drives daily. It was difficult but I learned the signs I need to recognize when/if this happens again and how to act as a 'stop sign'. I think I could handle working in one of those facilities now. Whenever i'm creating music I feel like times stands still. Strumming the chords or placing my fingers on the keys feels so comforting to me. I usually put aside 2 hours when it comes to writing + composing + producing since once I start its only go-go-go from there.

It sounds as if im ahead almost, which is ironic since i'm actually so behind. My fingers have already been molded to play the way I taught myself and not how its supposed to be done. which really sucks when you meet famous musicians who tell you youre doing it wrong when it felt so right years ago.

It truly sucks. New York is known for pop-culture, fashion, and music. if you can't go to school for it there.. whats the point of even trying? you can't make it anywhere else. Being bound to the tri-state area excluding NYC, giving up dreams of NYU, all in the span of a year? why did I work this hard just to be denied admission without even giving in my application? last time I checked my father was not on the admissions commitee. hard to move on passed a school I dreamed of since I was 13.
