Home schooling has both positive and negative effects on a child’s development. “Children learn the best when they are surrounded by others”. Other parents find it good, flexible and beneficial when their children learn at home and offers opportunities that schools to not offer. When parents choose home schooling for their kids can always choose the curriculum judging from what they seem to be performing good in. Yet the attention that is given to the child is not the same as the on one on the public school where there are a 20-30 and more kids that wants the teacher at the same time.

We can mention so much about the benefits of home schooling like flexible learning schedule, however there are also disadvantages that comes along with the process of home schooling and the development of children. What is everyone’s take on the home schooling subject and what are other advantages and disadvantages that comes along?

My response to homeschooling reads as follow. A child needs an environment packed with different kinds of things, people in other words. A diverse environment that the children can learn and offer others an opportunity to learn from them. U can learn alone in a zone or territory that will lead to and idea of being a loner. That is not good for early childhood development. We understand that parents want what's best for their children but the best sometimes can be the worst. Send the children to school so that they can learn with their peers.

Home schooling has an advantage of choosing your own curriculum but also it is also a disadvantage because when the child fails they will be at a crossroads. They will be confused because they will think that they have chosen the subjects they enjoy or great at. If they were on a normal school they would get to experience a variety of subjects.

Home school is also a disadvantage because the child will grow up around the same people, they will not have the experience of interacting with other peers which would become a major problem when they are at a work place.
