What is the best way to make a good first impression on a classmate? On a boss?

(Firdaus) In general, first impression is an event when one person gives first encounters to another person and forms a mental image of that person. So, it is very important to create a good first impression because it will show your attitude. There are several ways to make a good first impression on your classmate such as be friendly, be confident and be punctual.(Izwan) Firstly, be friendly. As a new student in the new environment, sometimes we will introduce our self in the class. So, we should never feel nervous. This is because when you feel nervous, your classmate will give a bad impression. Other than that, when your classmate ask more about you, you should answer their question friendly and do not be shy.(Hisyam) Besides that, be confident. If you are student, you should entering the class with the confident face and do not forget to smile with other student so they will give a good first impression. The most important, we should never show an arrogant face and be polite with them. (Saipul)Furthermore, be punctual. For example, if you promise with your classmate to do homework or assignment at the library, you should come early and never give excuses to come late because it can make a bad impression. (Ruziana) The first good impression is always smile. As we all know smile is one of the good body language that show you are an approachable person. (Syaherra) Next, the way you what to make a good impression for the first time is with your apparent. The cloth that you are wearing is quite showing for you either you are approachable or not. The more propitiate you wearing the easier people to approach you. (Aliza) Third, we need to have a good communication skill in order to make a good first impression on a classmate. When we are having a conversation with stranger politely, that person will give a good feedback to you and we can keep the conversation going. (Nathalie) Other than that, avoid bad days and try to be in a good mood. If you are in a depressed or anxious mood, others will pick up on this from your facial expressions, comments and body language. If you're having a bad day, just stay home and try to calm down. If it is a situation you cannot avoid, try some relaxation techniques or find other techniques that may help you change your negative mood before going out. (Khadijah) Lastly, you have to show some respect to the person that you meet. For example, if she or he is talking, you have to pay attention and do not interrupt while the others talking. It shows that you do not have manners and might ruin their first impression about you.
