Mrs. Murphy A book I recently read was The Royal Bee. I think the theme is perseverance because Song-ho worked really hard to achieve his goal of going to school and earning a better life for himself and his mother.

A book I recently read (It was a fable from the complete collection of Brothers Grim) was Little Red Cap. I think the theme is is that children must obey their parents and that they must never talk to strangers. Even a very friendly stranger can be bad. I know this because Little Red Cap was told by her mother to go straight to her grandmother's house. Little Red Cap meets a sly wolf on the way to her her grandmother's. He acts nice so LRC trusts him and tells him where she is going. The wolf tells herto look at the flowers and the birds singing and she does! The wolf then hurries over to the grandma's house and eats her and then LRC. Luckaly a man saves them. <:3)- THIS IS A MOUSE

A book I recently read was Bark George. I think the theme could be persevere,because in the story George makes a cat noise, a duck noise, a pig noise, and a cow noise but no bark. So the mom took him to the vet and the vet pulled out a cat,duck,pig and a cow. When all of them were out he finally said bark! But when George and his mom walk home George's mom asks him to bark but he doesn't bark he says..., "Hello?" This is why I think my theme is persevere.

Recent Book: Ghosts(fiction)
I think the theme of this story is to always face your fear or what you are scared of because Catrina(main character) is scared because her sister and neighbor see ghost as well as Catrina. She is frightened by them. And soon she faces her fear by going to a midnight party full of ghosts and she meets a nice ghost the is her neighbors Uncle( he was 8) and then she realized that ghosts are not harmful.

A book I recently read was Harry Potter The Half blood Prince.I think the theme is not giving up because Dumbldore told Harrry to make sure he kept drinking so that he could find the horcrux in it.But when he drank it, Dumbledore didnt want to drink it anymore.But Harry didnt stop and kept giving him the potion.But the potion was well protected and it made Dumbledore very weak.At the bottom was a note saying"To the Dark Lord."I know I will be dead long before you read this but I want you to know that it was I who discovered your secret."I have stolen the Horcrux and intend to destroy it as soon as I can."I face death in the hope that when you meet your match, you will be mortal once more."

A book I recently read was Starry River of The Sky.I think the theme is even though you hate somewhere (or something) you can learn something and even do something good.Just like Rendi went to an inn which he hated.He heard lots of stories which all connected to the solution, so he learned.He even got the moon back to the sky, found a person who ran away , and restored someone's knowledge.

The book I recently read was Finders Keepers (fiction) by Shelly Tougas. I think the theme of this story could be don't think too much about things because in the book Christa kept thinking I wonder what could happen if Sheriff Duncan (which she thinks is out to find it) found the money??? She had a few other thoughts like this throughout the book. When she thinks about things too much she gets all worked up and when she thinks about things she doesn't want to happen like she did in this book she will over think them and get herself introuble trying to stop those things from stoping in the future. Overall I think this is the main theme even though there is one other theme in the very end. :)

I think that the theme of this story could be that you should always be determind because in this story a lot of times Harry Potter , Viktor Krum , Fleur De Lecour , and Cedric Diggory failed. But they always failed and they tried again. But they always got back up. So that is why I think that the theme is to be determind.

A book I had just finished was Wonder . I think the theme is never judge a person by how they look like.This is about a boy named August who was de-formed . He was homeschooled at first by he decided to go to school for 5th grade. All the kids in Beecher Prep makes fun of him make faces at him especially Jullian. They even called something called the Plaugie and if you did not wash your hand in 30 seconds you would get it. In the end everybody realizes that August is just a nice and ordinary kid. Hope you liked my theme. If you haven't read this book I would recommend it it is really good. I would also recommend the next book Auggie and Me.

A book I finished is quest for justice.I think theme is never put unless their useful because people might fight back.Because when three characters arrive in the scene,(Stan Kat and Charlie)they find out that the king put a law banishing ALL lower-level players(levels under 15)so Stan, Kat, and Charlie need to find help and kill the king.

A recent book I have not read to long ago, was Save Me a Seat. Also, I think that the theme in Save Me a Seat is don't be afraid to express who you are, and try to make new friends. I think this because, Ravi was new to the school and everyone, even a boy named Dylan (who bullied him the most!) made fun of him all the time, every single school day. And the same thing had happened to Joe who is another character in the story. But they didn't act up to them and that is why I think that, that is the theme!

A book I recently read was Save Me A Seat. I think the theme in save me a seat is to not feel left out and to not be afraid to be the real you and to show your feelings.I think this because a boy named Ravi moved to America from India. He got bullied a lot and tried to be the number one student to the teacher by giving her many nice things and by doing very well on homework assignments and projects. All Ravi had to do was just to be himself.That is why I think this is the theme in the story called Save Me A Seat.You should read it too.
