Self introduction among group members in order to strengthen the ukhwah among usrah members

All of us need to state our name, birth place, course and mahallah

The naqib distribute us into teams by using roulette spin and we were divided by 5 person per each group

In Islamic perspective, life is often analogized in various ways to convey spiritual and moral lessons.

Some of the common analogies of life as a test are we sometimes make mistakes, but as a human we can learn from past mistakes and take it as a lesson for us to be a better person in the future

This also act as a lesson for us muslim as Allah SWT created us as a non-perfect creation

The naqib explain to us about the usrah's rules and some prohibition that needed to be avoided during usrah

The naqib explain about human position if they obey or disobey Allah SWT

Angels, a creation created by Allah SWT from light that have no desire and very obedience towards Allah SWT.

In comparison, if a human with filled with desires but being submissive towards Allah SWT, he is better than the angels

Rather than that, animals which is created by Allah SWT with no intellect is better compared to a human who had intellect but didn't submit himself towards Allah SWT

The naqib also explain us about repentance

He quoted a hadith from prophet S.A.W :"كُلُّ بَنِي آدَمَ خَطَّاءٌ وَخَيْرُ الْخَطَّائِينَ التَّوَّابُونَ"- which means 'All of Adam's children make mistakes, and the best people who make mistakes are those who repent'. Then he quoted again s hadith from prophet S.A.W: "التَّائِبُ مِنَ الذَّنْبِ كَمَنْ لَا ذَنْبَ لَهُ"- which means ' A person who repents of his sins is like a person who has never sinned at all'

From the hadith, we should grateful as we're born as prophet Muhammad SAW ummah because of how easy for us to repent for our as sin by the act of not repeating it again and being determined not to do it again compared to prophet Musa's ummah, as they need to commit suicide as an act of repentance

We were divided into 4 groups as a roleplay assignment

We're instructed to design a poster for each group then upload it at the padlet

Then we present our poster during usrah period

The first group which is my group present about adab towards parents

The second group present about adab towards neighbours

The third group present about adab towards society

The last group present about adab as a student

I hope that the activity held in future usrah will be more interactive as usrah helps me to further my understandings towards Islam

Being in usrah also helps me in making new friends from another courses as this activity is the only specific time when we're gathered including all courses
