Lots of interesting info and a really complete job! They could've switched up who was talking a bit more between the members

However, speaking in public can be genuinely challenging for some individuals, and this human factor isn't always within our control. We prioritized the human element and understanding over strict adherence to the planned distribution. In the group presentation, as a positive aspect to highlight, the didactic approach and organization of the presentation stand out. The presentation came across as very organic and fluid.
On the other hand, it is worth noting from our perspective that even after the audio activity, there remained some difficulty in distinguishing between the two variations.
In any case, it was an excellent presentation.

Regarding the lingering difficulty in distinguishing between the two variations, we actually see that as a success of the activity! Our intention in showcasing two variants was precisely to highlight how subtle the differences often are, and how characteristics of one can frequently be found in another. The activity and the seminar's overall goal were to demonstrate the inherent challenges in comprehending the nuances of variants. That's why we focused on perception rather than reproduction activities; if it's difficult to even distinguish accents, imagine trying to reproduce them accurately! The seminar's core aim was to illustrate the complexities of working with language variants. Even with phonological data and 'cheat sheets,' the nuances and variations within accents, even within a single variant, are incredibly challenging to master and often require years of immersive exposure to the language.

Group 5 Positive aspect: the presentation itself was good, and we really like the historical and geographic aspects bring to the presentation, improving the discussion.
Negative aspect: in our opinion, working with two new different english accents makes the work of understanding their phonetic aspects even harder, considering the little time to work and proccess the informations.
