In fact there are 3 official languages in Belgium: French is spoken in the Southern half of the country, Dutch is spoken in the northern portion and German is spoken in the eastern provinces. Brussels is the capital of Belgium and people speak both French and Dutch in the capital region. I chose this country because I was born in Belgium.
