It is a fiction children literature book. The Paperboy is about a little boy who goes around and delivers newspapers with his dog. In the book the boy and the dogs relationship is described as them being best pals. The book also describes how quite and peaceful the world is right before the sun is about to rise, and how this is the paper boy's favorite moment. The paper boy knows his paper route so well that the dog even knows every inch of the paper route. I just got done reading Shortcut by David Macaulay and it is one of the cutest books ever. I had to read it twice because the first time reading it I was quite confused. If you plan to read this book, really pay attention to the illustrations. Each chapter ties in with one another. This books was so cute and my favorite part is when Patty finds her pig friend Pearl! The illustrations are so adorable and perfect for children! Please read this book as soon as possible!

It starts off with a Goblin not pleased with himself, but manages to still help a family in need. This Goblin ends up helping a family by finishing work they are too tired to finish. The Goblin makes sure to only work at night so he won't be seen, but the family does see him. One day the family fixes a plate for the Goblin and invite him over to their house. They entire family and the Goblin enjoy their meal and each others presence. This is a great picture book for all ages and even adults too. This quote is from my favorite part in the book and it is when Bod makes a grave for his friend who was said to be a witch. His friend never got a proper headstone, so Bod made her one. This was my favorite part of the book because Bod was giving her what he think she deserved. Through out the book his witch friend started to like him more and more. Bod always had a kind heart to everyone. This is a great chapter book for older elementary school students because it has very dark moments. For example, in the beginning it talks about how Bod's entire family gets murdered. I will be discussing my favorite quote from this book. Ha's mom was comforting her went she told Ha to say this, "Breathe in, peaceful mind. Breathe out, peaceful smile." I love this quote because Ha's mom reminds me of the things my mom says to me to calm be down as well. Ha's mom said this to her because she was crying because someone called her a rude name. I couldn't imagine how hard it must have been for Ha to live in a completely different environment than what she was used too. Over all this books was amazing.

I would have my class act out some parts just to make it more enjoyable for the class. This book especially is one of my favorites because it incorporates a lot of traditional tales. For example this book covers "The ugly duckling", "Cinderella", and much more. This is such a fun read for everyone.

He gets fall the food he thinks the alligator would like and lines the food up from his bedroom, down the stairs, and out through the garage. The alligator then smells the food and eats everything until he is officially in the garage Then the little boy SLAMS the door close and locks it! He is very proud of himself. This is a great bed time story book for younger readers. The little old lady kept complaining that her house is to small and every time she asked the wise old man for advise, he would tell her to keep putting animals in her house! I was so puzzled because he never explained why he would tell her to do that. At the end of the story the wise old man tells the woman to take all the animals out of her house. The old woman was chanting with happiness saying her house was so much bigger. This also confused me because nothing has changed. This book made me think about how the little old lady complained about her house being so small but in reality she was just overthinking everything. Her house was a perfect size for her. This books is a fun and quirky find for young readers. It teachers young readers about the alphabet and it has lots of rhyming in it too. With the rhyming this book also has onomatopoeia! I think it would be such a fun book too read out loud, especially with all the fun rhyming that it has. I think a great project to spin off this book would be to have the students create their own story that includes rhyming and onomatopoeia. I remember painting the caterpillar, the painting the caterpillar eating all types of food, and then we had to design a beautiful butterfly that represented ourselves. I remember this girl in my art class painting all of her favorite foods that included enchiladas, chocolate cake, milkshakes, it was so cute seeing everyone be so entertained by this. The Rainbow fish has beautiful shiny scales, but he is also very unfriendly to his other fish friends. After getting advise on why the Rainbow Fish has no friends, he quickly changed his ways and become more friendly. The Rainbow Fish gave everyone one of his shiny scales and he said he felt very happy after that. This is a great message for young kids especially in school. There are some incidents that I have witness where kids do not want to share with one another. With this book it can teach the kids that sharing makes everyone feel good inside!
