"Os Lusíadas" is an epic poem, written by Luís de Camões. It was dedicated to the king D. Sebastião and celebrates Portugal’s achievements and the courage of its explorers.

Federico García Lorca was a very important poet of the 20th century. One of his most important books is called Romancero gitano. It contents poems about the gypsy culture in Andalusia. These poems deal with nature, mystery, love, passions and humanity and they are full of symbolism.

The book "Momo" is basically constructed around a girl of the same name and who has the astonishing capacity to solve problems by just listening to the people. Thus, her time spent with the people becomes precious.

She is the only person who is able to save mankind from losing their time to the time-stealing grey men.

This book can be read by young and older people taking a different perspective and meaning for each and everyone.

The book represents the families who lived through the difficult years after the Civil War (second half of the 20th century). It shows their hard work to build a better future for their children.

It is a tribute to the generation that created the middle class in Spain today.

After the reading, some families came to class to tell us about their experiences over this period of time, and we analyzed the similarities with the book.
