         <description><![CDATA[<div>1. Traditionally, Advent is an important season in the Polish year, with special church services, known as Roraty, being held every morning at 6am. The four Sundays of Advent are said to represent the 4,000 years of waiting for Christ&nbsp;</div><div>2. Christmas in Ireland lasts from Christmas Eve to the feast of the Epiphany on January 6, which is referred to as Little Christmas. Ireland's Christmas is more religious than a time of fun.&nbsp;</div><div>3. The Coptic Church is an Orthodox Church and in the Coptic Church Christmas is celebrated on the 7th January. Advent is observed for forty days and during this period people are expected to fast eating no meat, poultry or dairy products. Some people only do this during the last week of Advent.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The first thing I learned about Canada is that many Canadians open their gifts on Christmas eve or they open one present on Christmas eve and save the others for Christmas day. The second thing I learned about Canada is that the people there believe that their country is the home of Santa Claus. The third thing I learned about Canada is that the have a festival called "Sinck Tuck." They exchange gifts and dance around. The last thing I learned about in Canada is that they mummer which is a tradition that they do in small villages. The people that do it dress up on white costumes and go up to doors and say "Is there any mummers in here." But the mummers only come out through December 26th to January 6th.  But now in some places mummering is banned because they think when they go up to a house and say it they are begging.</div>]]></description>

1. Traditionally, Advent is an important season in the Polish year, with special church services, known as Roraty, being held every morning at 6am. The four Sundays of Advent are said to represent the 4,000 years of waiting for Christ 
2. Christmas in Ireland lasts from Christmas Eve to the feast of the Epiphany on January 6, which is referred to as Little Christmas. Ireland's Christmas is more religious than a time of fun. 
3. The Coptic Church is an Orthodox Church and in the Coptic Church Christmas is celebrated on the 7th January. Advent is observed for forty days and during this period people are expected to fast eating no meat, poultry or dairy products. Some people only do this during the last week of Advent.
