The representatives from the colonies  all met up and made up the declaration of independence , a document stating that the colonies wanted Independence. At first the colonists protested peacefully, but when Britain tried to punish Massachusetts for rebelling in 1775, the thirteen colonies united and this is when the revolution broke out. The Britain were know anxious because they didn't know how hostile this battle was going to get ... the revolution went on to last for 8 years </div>]]></description>

The america soldiers then boxed them into this one point leaving the king to do nothing but surrender his soldiers. After the end of the war Britain troops moved out and this brought down the amount of conflict .          <description><![CDATA[<div>The Boston Tea Party was a protest that happened on December 16, 1773, at Griffin's Wharf in Boston, Massachusetts. the american colonists were very frustrated and angry at Britain for enforcing the “taxation without representation,”. Due to their emotions behind this they dumped 342 chests of tea, that were imported by the British East India Company into the harbor. This was the first huge major act of protest against the Britain and it help with the&nbsp; sparking of the American Revolution.</div><div><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Second Continental Congress meeting in May 1775, made George Washington commander in chief of the army.  This meeting was set to discuss if the colonies wanted to try one last time with Britain before declaring war and they wrote up the olive branch petition stating to Britain tat they give them one more chance but a day later they declared war . It later approved the Declaration of Independence (1776) and prepared the Articles of Confederation (1781), which gave certain powers to the Congress.</div>]]></description>
