One morning, I was getting ready for work and as I applied my makeup, I noticed a piece of paper stuck to the mirror.

Curious, I peered closer and read the words scrawled on it: "Meet me at the northern lights at 12:00 a.m."

My heart raced as I read on and saw a plane ticket was attached to the back of the note. I couldn't believe it - the ticket was in my name, but I didn't even live in Norway!

Despite my reservations, I found myself increasingly drawn to the mysterious message. After all, how often do you get a chance to see the Northern Lights? So, I made an impulse decision and packed my suitcase.

As soon as I arrived in Norway, I headed straight for Hammerfest. When I arrived, I saw him waiting for me.

But, the reunion wasn't what I had hoped for. It turned out that my boyfriend had sent the note to me and his other friends as a cruel joke. It was a twisted way for him to reveal that he had been cheating on me. My heart sank as I realized that my journey had been for nothing.
