From the warm welcome and briefing at Kompleks Perbadanan Putrajaya to exploring the beautiful Wetland Putrajaya 🌿, every stop gave me something new to learn and appreciate. Visiting Masjid Putra 🕌 left me amazed by its architecture and peaceful atmosphere, while Astaka Morocco & Taman Botani showed me how culture and nature can blend beautifully 🌸. Our free time at IOI Putrajaya 🛍️ and finally I have the chance to have dinner at Ayer8 🍽️ with my team three but there’s still us of us not joining and we’re forgot to take picture as well maybe we could join dinner again next time.

—Group3: Treeangle🌲🫶🏻

Cause we all got the opportunity to go to Putrajaya to visit the Perbadanan Putrajaya to listen about the introduction of Putrajaya Lake and Wetland, it was very insightful! Then we went to the wetland itself, even though we’re just sightseeing the dried wetland😹! The rest of the day we were just having free and easy day at the IOI mall and Ayer 8! 🎤🚌🪿

Today’s trip to Putrajaya is such a fun day! I got to explore new things in the City and the wetlands. The visit to the Mosque was my very first time stepping into the Mosque area. We had lunch by the lake and it reminds me of my home country and the Inya lake where i used to row. I tried the mint and oreo icecream. I took so many photos and videos untill my camcorder battery died and my phone said no storage left.

I love the long way singing karaoke session when we get back to our hotel HAHAHA. I really loved the environment there.

Thae July Htun (Jujuice)

🏢🕌🐣

Today, we started at Putrajaya Wetland Corporation with a really meaningful lecture, then had brunch (and honestly, we had sooo many meals today I didn’t even know how to handle dinner anymore). After that, we went on a Putrajaya tour, chilled by the lake and wetlands, then visited Putra Mosque. It was such a new experience, and the inside was so pink and pretty. We wrapped things up at IOI City Mall, aka the biggest mall in Malaysia, which was pretty amazing. 🦆💖🍱

Today, was a tiring yet a meaningful one!

I was amazed on how the goverment manages to preserve the Putrajaya. There initiatives are well structured especially the urban planning. I like to commend how the citizens here really follow the mandates. Since in our country even there are well laid plans, it fails in the execution. This made me realize that not all are really the same.

I appreciate the architecture of the Mosque. The patterns are so much detailed! It is my first time entering one so I will remember this for so long!

I also love that we have a cute souvenir here from the photobooth. I'm very much a sentimental person that I have all my friends printed photos in my study area back home so I will add this one🥹 Then, we got lost in the IOI Mall that we spent around 30 mins figuring out how to go back😭🤣

We end the day remembering how nature is really a wonderful gift to us as I was strucked with the full rainbow!🌈

Today, we had the opportunity to visit Putrajaya, Malaysia’s administrative capital. The day started with a briefing session at Bilik Mesyuarat Dahlia, Kompleks Perbadanan Putrajaya, where we learned about the background, planning, and development of the city. It was interesting to see how Putrajaya is not only the government’s administrative hub but also a place that blends modern infrastructure with natural and cultural elements.

After the briefing, we went to Putrajaya Wetlands, which is known as one of the largest man-made freshwater wetlands in the tropics. We also visited some of the iconic bridges of Putrajaya, which really amazed me with their unique architectural designs. Among all the stops, the Putra Mosque stood out the most ,its pink dome and elegant structure made it one of the most beautiful mosques I have ever seen.

Later in the afternoon, we visited IOI Putrajaya, where we had some free time to explore and relax. To end the day, we enjoyed a lovely dinner by the lakeside at Ayer8, which gave us a peaceful and cozy atmosphere to reflect on our experiences. It was both an educational and enjoyable experience.✨🕌🌉

Today was such an eye-opening experience! I got to learn about the dynamics of Putrajaya as Malaysia’s center of government and how good administration can really drive a nation’s growth. I also discovered that wetlands bring so many benefits to an urban environment, and Putrajaya has managed to combine local knowledge with the right policies to make it work. It made me think that Indonesia should also look deeper into its local wisdom and empower the youth, so progress comes from the system, not by burdening the people. Honestly, I’m still amazed at how organized and stable Putrajaya is! 🤟🏼👀⭐️

This morning was educational thanks to the lesson about Putrajaya wetland and lake, especially about ecological characteristics and community management. At the wetland, there were many birds such as painted storks, ducks, swans, pelicans, etc. Regarding plants, the Gymnostoma nobile surprised me due to its physical similarity to pines🌲🌳🌴

Studying ecology helps me understand that all of ecosystems are interconnected. Why Putrajaya must be a strange wetland to me? It is the rice fields growing me up! It is the river nurturing my soul when I was a child! This is not an unfamiliar place. This IS MY HOME! Inside the heart of Nature, there is no seperated countries, just the Earth; no different races, just Homo sapiens... What a fantastic lesson from Nature 🏞️

Thank you for all these wonderful things 🌸

Today was a day well spent in Putrajaya! It was definitely tiring, but I learned so much. We began with a visit to the Putrajaya Lake & Wetland, where I got to see the thought and effort that goes into preserving and promoting this beautiful body of water. Having attended lectures and visited other lakes in Malaysia, I found it fascinating how much value the country places on its lakes.

Afterward, we explored Putrajaya itself. The Pink Mosque was absolutely breathtaking, and stepping inside for the first time was such an enlightening experience. I truly appreciated the opportunity to learn more about Islam in such a serene and sacred place.

We ended the day with some shopping at IOI Mall and dinner at Ayer 8. I can’t believe our time in Malaysia is almost over. The thought of leaving already makes me sad, but it also makes me more excited to return someday.

Your professional shopper,

Julianna Marionne G. We went there for a brief seminar about Putrajaya Lake and Wetland and it was so insightful! Then we went to the lake and the Putra Mosque and it is really amazing! After that, we went to the IOI Mall, the biggest mall in Malaysia (I just knew it haha). Since my legs were already crying, I just chill out and had a coffee with a friend of mine there for the whole 2 hours haha....

Bimo Wiratmoko, Group 1

They have proper inspections, and the Wetland project is a nature-based solution to manage and reduce water pollution. I also felt grateful to be back at Putrajaya Mosque again. It always gives me peace whenever I visit. After that, we went to Ayer 8. The scenery was beautiful, even with the light drizzle. The atmosphere felt calm and a little romantic.

😲🔥💯

I loveeeed putrajaya. The second i stepped off the bus, I talked abt how good I thought the city planning was. I kept on getting impressed when we were told more about the city and the manmade wetlands, how they managed the water cleanliness levels, and the city planning. We asked a lott of questions, and rhey were answered so well too. I wanted to ask questions about the soil and land before putrajaya was founded but was worried it might be too specific. Aside from the city planning, i loveed the buildings and architecture too. Though, i felt it could've been more friendly for walkers. Maybe that's not an issue since everyone has cars and the city is only 60% done? I wish Indonesian cities could be half as good as putrajaya. Looking at Indo now though, it doesn't seem realistic at all.

The rest of the day was looking around, shopping, and finding food. An interestingg day, I learned a lot.

Today was Day 8🪷, and it was one of the most memorable experiences so far. As someone who truly loves architecture, visiting Putrajaya for the first time made me feel amazed and inspired. The city is filled with beautiful and diverse architectural designs that almost feel like stepping into another world. During the briefing, I learned that Putrajaya is divided into 20 precincts, each with its own purpose ranging from government complexes and mosques to residential areas, restaurants, and recreational spots. In addition, Tasik Putrajaya, the city’s central lake, is divided into 6 activity zones for different uses such as kayaking, canoeing, leisure boating, sports, or simply relaxing by the waterfront. This makes the city vibrant and multifunctional. Although some of our original plans were canceled, we spent time exploring IOI Mall instead, which was huge and fun to walk around. Finally, we ended the day at Ayer8, having dinner right next to the river. The view was breathtaking the sunset blended with a cloudy sky and rainbow. Sharing delicious Thai food with friends in that moment made the evening even more special. I felt truly happy and grateful for this unforgettable day.

🌇🕌🧡

I’m Maprang (Rina) 🌈

Today at AUN Summer Camp 2025 was such a full and exciting day. We started with a session at the Putrajaya Government about urban and city planning. Honestly, I really enjoyed the class because it gave me a clear picture of how cities are designed, managed, and connected with sustainability. The most special moment for me was when I got the chance to ask about decolonization of knowledge—how local wisdom can actually be combined with modern approaches. I felt proud for being brave enough to bring that question up, and it reminded me that knowledge should not only come from the West but also from our own traditions.

After the session, we went strolling around Putrajaya, and I loved the iconic views, especially Wetland Lake. The scenery was calming, and it gave me space to reflect on what I had learned earlier. Then, we went to IOI Mall, the biggest mall in Malaysia. It was so huge, and I even found a small market inside that sold affordable things. I took the chance to buy some souvenirs for my family, which made me happy because I know they’ll appreciate them.

What made today even more meaningful was that I decided to spend more time with Thai participants. It was so refreshing to share stories, laugh, and bond with them. It helped me realize that this camp is not only about learning knowledge but also about building friendships across cultures. We ended the day with dinner, and I went back feeling grateful, inspired, and super energized.

Today, we did a corporate visit to Putrajaya Lake and Wetland! It was such an insightful experience, as we learned how this place plays an important role in water management, biodiversity conservation, and environmental education. We then headed to Masjid Putra, one of the biggest mosque in Malaysia. I was amazed by the architecture of the mosque. Later, we went to IOI Putrajaya Mall and Ayer 8, where we had food at both places. Overall, today was very eventful and I learned a lot!
