3-2-1 Assessment
This assessment is similar to the ticket out the door. This assessment asks students to list a couple things they learned from the lesson, give examples of what they learned, and a question they may have after the lesson. This is a great was to informally assess students progress and understanding of the lesson and content that was taught!

Ticket out the Door
Ticket out the door can consist of several things. An example could be seeing how students feel about the lesson. You may have a ticket out the door where student pick go( I’m ready to move forward) stop( I need help) or caution( I need clarification on...) this is an informal assessment to see how student feel after the lesson. You may also have a ticket out the door where students write what they learned , what they may need help on, and what they worked on! This will help the teacher to see a summary of if the students grasped the concept of the lesson!

Think Pair Share
This informal assessment requires students to answer or think about a question, turn to a partner and explain/ talk to their partner about their answer and share their partners answer to the class or group! This is great to have students collaborating with one another and being able to understand others answers and explain it.

Four Corners
Four corners is a way to informally assess students understanding! A teacher can ask a multiple choice question and have each corner of the room labeled A,B,C,D. Once students hear the question, they move to the corner of the room with the letter of what they think the correct answer is. Once students arrive at that corner, they discuss and justify their reasoning. This is a great way to review for a test.

Jigsaw
Jigsaws are great for having students collaborate in groups! A jigsaw is when each person in a group has a specific section of a text or article. Each student has to read and collect information from that section. After each student has done this, they share the information with the rest of their group, so each student in the group gets all the important information without having to read the whole article or text!

Jeopardy

Jeopardy is a fun and interactive way to assess students. This informal assessment allows for students to be engaged, and for the teacher to also see what students are understanding the material and those who are not. Jeopardy works just like the game show. Students get into groups of 4-5. Each group plays against eachother, and they try to answer as many questions right as possible. The group who answers the most questions correctly wins.
