This image is a great way to show how we feel when we are angry. When I am angry, I sometimes feel like breaking stuff or punching walls. Although, I do not act on these behaviors there has been moments in my life where I felt like I wanted to hit something to release the pressure. Also, you can see his facial expression gives the assumption that he is or wants to scream. This is not a happy scream because there is no smiling or a sad scream because there are no tears.

Bored

This image gives me the impression that the child is bored. The child is staring into nothingness. Also, I see that the child is leaning on their arm like I would if I wanted to fall asleep. Normally, when I am bored I tend to want to go lay down and sleep. The facial expression of the child in this picture is blank. There is no smile or tears, or rage. The child seems empty, bored. Another assumption for me as a non reader are the mounds of books. Personally, I am not a reader so to see this child sitting there surrounded by books send the signal they are bored.

Sad

To me this image represents sadness. Whenever I am sad, I want to be alone so that I can reflect on my feelings. Also, for some reason, I always want to put my head down. When I lost my father, grandmother and father, I went to a quiet place by the river in the dark. This gave me time to reflect on my life both in the past and my future. When I am alone in the dark with silence I can hear their voices and remember their faces. Being alone allowed me to cry without feeling embarrassed.

Confused

This is a funny example of a confused expression. i enjoy this picture because it reminds me a lot of my students when I show them a concept that is new. It normally starts off with me teaching a concept then hearing complete silence. As soon as I hear this silence then I know to turn around and look at my students. This is the face that I see. I ask my students if everything is okay. The response from a few students is usually "none of us understand what you are doing." This look tells me that my students are confused and are not following what I am teaching. Therefore, I need to go back and give a better explanation.

Happy

I chose this example of happy because the minions display nonverbal cues that they are happy. When I look at this picture the biggest cue that stands out to me is that both minions are smiling. Also, they could be dancing since both of them are in different motions. Or maybe they are posing for the picture and usually we pose for pictures when we are happy. Another possible cue could be that the minion on the left is pointing in the air with a feeling of "yeah." The funny about this picture is that I have posed in a similar picture with my friend. My pose was just like the minion on the left. I was originally dancing, then I posed for the picture and pointed in the air. I remember saying in my head "yeah" because I was having so much fun.
