Display Cabinets in the Foyer (Each term):

These are the hardest areas to fill as they are so large and physically difficult to set up. Michelle and I share these duties and the unwritten agreement is that I do the 4 large cupboards and she manages the 2 smaller ones usually once a term and in a timely fashion. I have set up the new one for Term 1 so you will have a few weeks to think and create the next one. I would appreciate Term 3's new display being set up in the last week before you leave but I can appreciate if time gets away with your work commitments.

Holiday reading, author visits, spontaneous whims... There are numerous display boards, smaller display boxes and spaces if you wish to create a display for a shorter period of time. Just check with Michelle and see if it clashes with any of her plans.

Don't fret if your skill level doesn't match a professional window dresser capabilities. Sometimes all you need is a few posters and streamers. There are some colourful plastic rolls of backgrounds in the display cupboard which may provide a useful starting point.

I rely heavily on movie posters as they are so well designed. I then Photoshop them to 'customise' them for my use e.g. Dewey number, theme etc. There is a large collection of past posters in the display cupboard in a large plastic box with clear plastic dividers. Michelle usually does these but you could offer help if you feel able.
