I was intrigued by the questions provided and the outlook Julie provided. The top five things I learned from Julie are as follows;
1. The legal issues surrounding transgender students and meeting their needs. This is something I have never come across, but see it as an important need to understand the laws surrounding these students and their safety. 
2. Teachers unethical decisions resulting in discussions with human resources to better understand actions can legally be taken. 
3. As a principal the importance of being proactive in understanding the changing laws and keeping yourself updated with TEA. 
4. Creating master schedules for a campus that ensures that every employee meets the required work hours without going over. This takes a lot of knowledge on what each employee is allowed to work, and the amount of time required legally for special areas. 
5. I found this article intriguing due to the ethics that come hand in hand with a teacher selling work that isn't there own creation. The journal discussed teacher accountability and education reforms that have been put in place to ensure student success.

I only read chapter 7, however the entire book seems intriguing on the aspects of accountability as a teacher, what it is, and how to maintain accountability.

Through research I've found that teacher accountability goes hand in hand with principal and school wide accountability. Which in turn can lead to ethical cases if accountability is not being sustained.
   This topic is important to educators because being able to show accountability helps ensure that funds for the school are acquired and maintained through school performance. National Research Council shares, "Although the Title I statute calls for the use of multiple measures of student achievement, states and districts at this point continue to use one test in designing accountability. Schools get the message that they have to raise scores on that test in order to earn rewards or avoid sanctions". 
In the future, I inspire to become an elementary school principal.
