         <description><![CDATA[<div>Four elements:<br>-Parody: Relating Mcdonalds to disease, sickness.  Mcdonald's advertieses their BigMac to taste good, yet it has such a large impact on the body.  <br><br>- Hyperbole: Anyone that eats a Big Mac gets a heart attack<br><br>- Incongruity: The Mcdonalds "M" logo is seen on the heart monitor(Vitals).  <br><br>-Reversal: Mcdonalds is supposed to be convenient as it is fast food but in reality it causes inconvenience to the body.<br><br>Key Questions:<br>-If you have a big mac you are going to get sick.<br>-Having a large number of big macs/ fast food has left a large impact on health. <br>- People must have fast food at a limit and also consider its impacts. <br>-"M" in the heart monitor is targeting Mcdonalds specific<br>- Warning to people who consume Mcdonald's food to be aware of the effects<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Four techniques of Satire:<br></strong>- Parody: An imitation of other Big Mac ads, but instead, this one reveals the truth about the "mouth-watering" sandwich claiming that it is "52% fat". <br><br>- hyperbole: "52% fat" is a super large value, and contact with the other advertisement (same from this company, the other advertisement said that  the big mac is "100% original, just like you.) When comparing the two ads, this one uses irony to represent how unhealthy the sandwich is. <br><br>-Incongruity: The main focus of this ad shows an attractive Big Mac sandwich with just one large title that grabs the readers attention instantly. <br><br>Reversal: The title is stating the complete opposite to what one may assume when taking a glance at the sandwich. This is using the complete opposite advertising techniques and schemes the brand traditionally uses.<br><br><strong>Key questions: <br>- The attitude towards this piece by the people who created it is that Big Mac sandwich's are not healthy for the human body, and for frequent consumption.  <br>- This ad is ridiculing those who fall for McDonald's advertising tactics, because many are completely aware that the sandwich does not look like the ad in real life. <br>- The goal of the satirist is to change people's/society's view on McDonald burgers and understand that they are very unhealthy and that it's a high-fat food.<br>- The four techniques of satire have been used to make this mock ad that boldly gets it's statement across to the audience and implies that McDonald's burgers are unhealthy.</strong></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Parody- it imitates an AA meeting, imitates a bottle of vodka <br>Hyperbole- the ad indicates that if you drink Absolute Vodka, you would become an alcoholic and go to AA meetings <br>Incongruity- the seating arrangement shapes into a large vodka bottle, representing the consequence of addiction<br>Reversal - the seating arrangement is presented through the opposite of the normal order, where normally it is arranged in a circle, rather than an abnormal vodka bottle<br>The underlying assumption is that people who drink Absolute Vodka will end up in AA meetings. <br>The flawed human action is excessive drinking. <br>The author’s argument without humour would only show the mental harm and damage alcoholism can cause to an individual.<br>The goal of the satirist wishes society to understand and educate on the consequences of alcohol, and the increase of likelihood of addiction.</div>]]></description>
