For me, food safety is not getting sick from food! :)
Three things I learned about food safety are...
1. If you don't clean, separate, cook and/or chill, the food can/will have bacteria.
2. Food safety is important because it keeps you healthy.
3. Never leave milk out otherwise it will become room temperature and get bacteria.
My favorite food safety topic was learning about how important cooking things to get rid of bacteria is.
My least favorite topic was the essay.
But overall it was fun learning how to be safe in the kitchen!

One thing that I learned about safety is to separate different types of foods, to use a separate cutting boards for vegetables, and poultry, meat. The last thing I learned is about cleaning surfaces after cooking something. My favorite topic was to learn about the separation of foods, and my least favorite topic was to learn about the thermometer.
