Students will demonstrate their knowledge of social movements in the U.S.

Final assessment idea:
The final assessment is for students to depict all of the protests that were done throughout the Civil Rights Movement, Women’s Suffrage and part of the Vietnam protest. Students will compare and contrast different protest methods, or compare and contrast the different movements. Students will use specific evidence from text to discuss the ways in which each movement was successful, what went right or wrong, and key figures. This will demonstrate that students understand the different movements (time periods, ethnicity/gender, etc.) and how they affected the United States.
