This day is greatly influence to those that developed among the Irish diaspora, especially in north America.
Saint Patrick feast day, as a kind of national day, was alredy being celebrated by the Irish Europe in the ninth and thenth centruies. In later times, he baceme morre and more widely seen as the patron of Ireland.

The feast of Saint Patrick is March 17. Patron of the whole island of Ireland located northwest of continental Europe. It is currently celebrated worldwide due to the extensive Irish diaspora in countries such as France and Spain and even in places far from Europe such as the United States and Argentina.
It is celebrated at the end of the year, in October, November or December, depending on each edition of the decision made by the Collegiate Council of San Patricio.

Saint Patrick`s day is a celebration of the patron of Ireland. It celebrates on 17^th of March. This is a Christian celebration for his dead. The celebration consistes in all the Irish people wear Green clothes, drink beer and eat Irish food.

The first St. Patrick's Day parade was in the Free State of Ireland, in the city of Dublin in 1931.

The first festival of Saint Patrick was on March 17^th, 1996. In 1997 it becames three days event, and in 2000 it had already lengthened to four days. Since 2006 the festival lasts five days.

Also, this celebration is important in other cities of the world such as Manchester, Chicago, New York, etc.

Currently the largest parade of Saint Patrick is in New York.
