         <title>Where did Division come from?</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Division came from the Egyptians. Division was manly used for sharing food evenly. The Egyptians would estimate how big of a piece or how much food each person would get. They would do this by taking into consideration how many people were going to share the food. Then they would start to do their division mentally to see how the food would be shared evenly. The division symbol was called an obelus and was first used in 1659 by Johann Heinrich. </div>]]></description>

After every scenario we will switch stations. The consumers will go to the bank, the bank will go to the candy store, and the candy store will become the consumers. When we finish our 3 scenarios we will go back to our desks and check our answers using a calculator. </div>]]></description>
