Lack of critical reading of our use of technology, but New Media studies is just coming around, like it took awhile for film and TV to be looked as a neat "tool" and something that needs to be critiqued too as a tool and communication medium.

Schools jumping ahead too quickly and not thinking about what it really takes to implement technology in the classroom. For example, who will maintain the technology? What training needs to go in to it? Will this technology be useful in 5 years from now?

blended/flipped learning. I always hated homework and I was a good student. But being at home to do problems and assignments without input was always awful. LOVE the flipped model - surprised it has taken us so long. Technology really helps deliver this kind of instruction.
