When Washington received it, 4 hours before the bombing, he forwarded the message to the Pearl Harbors commanders, but they did not receive in time. The message did come, the attack has already began.
The attack lasted for two hours and twenty minutes. More than 2,400 Americans are dead and nearly 1,200 wounded.
