Likeee, we all use biometrics these days, like on our phones, cameras, pretty much for everything security-related. We even need fingerprints for e-payments we do on our phone. It could be an invasion of privacy as it can track what we do from day to day, but what will the authorities do with it? I don't think its gonna be any of help as the cameras record you being a law abiding citizen. Only corrupted authorities will use this against for you due to bribery, or for stalking activities. But overall, facial reconigition and biometrics are made for our safety and only mostly used against criminals. We should only draw that line when something goes wrong. For example, when people use it to stalk us, or do monitor our day-to-day activities for any reason which is obvipusly wrong.

Another disadvsntage is that people can hack into these databases and take our information within a few clicks. We would be in danger and our information will be expised to the public for everyone to see. I would be okay if it is used for entertainment apps such as Snapchat where my consent is needed and if it keeps us safe from potential threats like terrorist attacks (e.g. 9/11). Also, I think it would be good if it could be used to detect feelings or illnesses that are unseen to people. But I would draw a line if it was used in a biased way and if it were used without my consent. I would not want companies who have racial biases towards Asians, for example, to set restrictions to apps and that discriminates us and others. Imagine how someone would feel if they were called a liar or a criminal by an app. Even worse, if it were used in court? It would make them feel really looked down on and discriminated, like their innocence is so worthless that it is determined by an app and the court bases your verdict on the results that the app gives. i am okay with facial recognition being used for benevolent reasons like unlocking my phone, catching criminals and so on. I am also generally fine with companies using this data to improve customer service. I am not fine with having my face on a big screen or being publicly humiliated. Overall I feel that the line should be drawn when our faces are being analysed without our consent for unethical reasons, especially considering that facial recognition threatens safety, autonomy and liberty, and may just be a reflection of the bias of creators. Facial recognition should not be used for judge and jurys

These identification technology is usually used to identify criminals which is useful to ensure the security and safety of the public. For example, DNA profilling was used to identify and catch a rapist. Using facial recognition to unlock mobile devices, like the new iPhone X, is a decision that the owner of the phones can make. However, one exception where identification technology could be an invasion of technology is when they track the the people's movements in public without any reason except to know their habits to better advertise to them, as this only benefit companies and not the public. Another example is to be able to identify what feelings people are having at the moment, because it is completwly unnescessary too. Another invasion of privacy is to expose people's personal information to the public for no reason itger than to shame and humiliate them.
