The movie shattered many records in Japan becoming the highest grossing movie of all time in Japan, passing "Spirited away" which held that title for 19 years. As a huge fan of the series I went to see it on the first day the movie released in the US, and the movie lived up to the hype from Japan. If you have any appreciation for animation and anime I cannot recommend seeing this movie more. It was funny, sad, and beautifully animated. I know I'm repeating myself but this is the best looking movie I have ever seen.
