It isn't quite what people think of when you say "photography," but nonetheless, it is still very exciting. One thing I noticed right away about pop art is that the things you are photographing originally aren't actually the way the turn out after editing on photoshop. I think my work has gone pretty well so far because I've managed to make two two pop art images so far. One of them I have only made one variation and the other I have made nine variation which I hope to turn into a collage sort of thing. I have also noticed that I enjoy editing photos fo people. I think this is because I believe pop art really brings out a deeper meaning and insight into people with unrealistic colours. I feel like I can see a different side of them with pop art. This is because I found 9 different colours that I think suited the mood of this piece of work. I was going for the mood of mysterious and making the picture have a deep connotation. A big part of this is the way the person in the photo looks at the camera. You can almost see a bit of pain in his eyes and that is something that I think really contributes the the mood. Not only that, but the colours I chose also each show a different side of the person. Each of the colours really compliment a different style of artwork so when they all come together, they create an unknown feeling.
