I'm one of three department chair for a large discipline. I was super worried about enrollment this semester, but the classes are 96.4% full, and. today, was the hectic first day of classes. And my office was busy until 2:30.

I was born in Soviet Union, and the particular work of literature you mentioned  Gabriel, was the required book.... which we all hated and didn't relate, until now... when it became the usual problem -  relationships (philosophical ) between fathers and sons/daughters). Especially vivid it is now, with the situation between Ukraine and Russia. Many families broke up in both countries due to this particular dissonance between , religion, politics and so on...

Caring about others and maximizing efficiency, productivity, and connection to the people and world around me is central to how I view myself and the work and communities I am a part of.  My background in lean process improvement and organizational development combined with my childhood growing up with a twin sister and a close-knit family in New Hampshire – provide the backdrop for my inclination towards kindness and productivity.    I am personally inspired by the people in my community and by my own mortality. The arc of our lives drives me to maximize my impact and the good that I can do for my community, my children and family. I want to smile every day and see others smiling. I want to give back and see others give back. I want to make a difference and help others make a difference.   I work in UX Research at Southern New Hampshire University - a complex organization that I love!
