Due to the 1st point, the Irish are opting to live out of Dublin, for better mortgage but with Dublin's salary. This leads to the 2nd point of congestion where commuters are spending as long as 5 hours in their car per day. This is unsustainable because of energy consumption, traffic congestion and deterioration in the quality of life for those concerned.

In hopes of reducing the manpower required to clean tables and trays at hawker centres, by providing customers of hawker centres incentives for returning their tray. The incentive provides customers a 20 cent incentive when they return their tray. However in doing so the hawkers are charges 20 cents per customer who returned their tray. Hawkers already have high amounts of expenses and this method would result in an unsustainable method of keeping tables and trays of hawker centres.

In Singapore every year, our solid waste and ashes goes to the landfill,  where it will be projected to run out of space in 2035, as every year, 200,000 tonnes of solid waste goes into the landfill. Once the landfill is completely filled, Singapore have no other ways to dispose the waste. 
In addition, Singapore incinerates waste, which effectively reduces the volume of waste by 90% but at the same time it produces dioxins which are harmful to health.

I find what this organization doing is really meaningful. From reading the article linked, I can agree with the point of the country having to pull a lot of resources from other parts of the economy in order to promote a subsidised higher education.

This is why I believe that globalisation has helped in heaps and bounds, as it has helped many countries improve their economies. For Singapore, E-waste is a pressing issue. E-waste is very toxic and people underestimate the toxicity of the e-waste that we disposed. 
Government are implementing regulations to help in the reduction of e-waste (properly disposal). 
However, this might not be sufficient, the key would need to be start from educating the public on how toxic e-waste can be so that public would understand that this issue not only affects them, but affects their future generations as well.

This is interesting as i went to Hong Kong during the holiday and indeed their housing is getting smaller due to the increasing population. In Hong Kong, housing expenses are especially high due to the limited places facing large demanding population. 
Having experienced it myself, i felt that the government policy mentioned was indeed a non-sustainable way in the long run.
