AIDs (disease) developed from HIV (virus), early AIDs causes weight loss, chronic diarrhoea, fungal infections (thrush, breathlessness/cough, headache/fever)
Late AIDs: Dementia, colon/eye infection, fever/anaemia, pulmonary aspergillus fungal infection (cough, fever and bleeding in lungs)

HIV is a virus found in an infected person's body fluids (semen, vaginal fluids, blood and breast milk). the virus is able to be passed on to another person through blood-to-blood and sexual contact
