         <description><![CDATA[<p>In this experiment with the candle, wire, and the wax, conduction was demonstrated through the wire. Heat started at the candle, where there was a flame. It then started traveling through the wire and eventually reached the wax. The heat was transmitted from the candle flame and through the wire.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The thickest wire was the best conductor of heat, because it had more mass and more heat was able to travel through it. It was thicker than the other two wires and therefore had more mass. The greater amount of mass allowed a greater amount of heat to travel through the wire and to the wax, where it melted. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The ESLR's addressed in this activity were being effective communicators and acting as self-directed learners. We worked together and demonstrated proficiency in writing and speaking. We communicated to do the experiment and create the wall. We used our writing skills to type up a report. We also used our creative and artistic abilities through media while creating this Padlet Wall. As self-directed learners, we learned to do the experiment and fix the problems we ran into by working together.</p>]]></description>
