      <title>Pulp Fiction by Janet Kirkpatrick</title>
      <link>https://padlet.com/jkirkpatrick1/9ef3dfcfssal</link>
<description>This original Quentin Tarantino cult-following masterpiece covers a day in the life of two thugs who work for a powerful crime boss. The most interesting thing about the movie is that it is shown as a series of stories not played in exact order. The job of the day is that the thugs, Vincent Vega and Jules Winnfield are to recover a valuable possession for their boss, Marsellus Wallace, from a group of amateurs that wanted money for it. Vega and Winnfield kill the “wanna be&#39;s”, and are almost shot, but the bullets never touch them. They require some help disposing of the bodies. Meanwhile, Marsellus tests Vega be sending him on a date with his wife, Mia Wallace, a short-careered tv actress to test his loyalty. During the date, Marsales&#39; wife overdoses and is saved through Vega’s quick action. The two agree never to discuss the details of the date. A washed up boxer Butch Coolidge makes a deal with Marsellus to throw a fight, but Coolidge renigs on the deal and wins the fight. As he rushes to get away from Marsellus in a strange turn of events, Coolidge and Marsellus meet in a store and begin to brawl. The store owners kidnap both men, for strange vulgar acts in the back of the store. Coolidge escapes and instead of leaving the scene, rescues Marsellus who in turn forgives Coolidge, but demands that Coolidge leave town so Marsellus can save face and so no one will learn about the store episode. Vega and Winfield eat in a diner that is robbed. Winnfield decides that is a sign he should go legit. They keep the armed robbers from hurting anyone and leave the scene. Vega is shot and killed later in the day. </description>
