I think the overall presentation and design is suitable. The images you have used are clear and fit their purpose.
It is easy to read and the information is clearly organised. However the forst sentence on drought tolerance can be a bit confusing.
I think the border around the whole page takes away a bit from the overall image, I would leave it out. Also I don't think you would need the asignment footer in the document.

Quick feedback on your Management Guide.
Design
·       The overall design of your weed management guide is simple and flows well. However it is hard to see the heading of your guide and may just be a simple change in colour or to increase the size so that it stands out more. 
·       The black border does help hold the guide together but could go without to simplify the design.
Content
·       The introduction material and key points are well written for the desired audience. 
·       The scientific name for Buffel Grass isn’t in italics and could possibly fit more information by reducing the size of the font.

Your currently presentation of the first page is really well constructed. The image and the bright orange work really well together and grab the viewers attentions.  However I do agree with other comments, the black boarder does take away from the presentation at the bottom of the page.
The Key Points box gives a brief but thorough over view of the species.
Your second sentence under "The Invader" header is a little confusing.  You cover quite a large amount of information in this sentence, that I think you would benefit from splitting it into a couple of more in-depth sentences to give the viewer a better understanding of the species.

I like the way you have used a nice large picture at the top of the top which catches the readers eye immediately. The design is nice and simple and looks well balanced. One thing might be to make the font a bit larger for the key point section of the brochure to make it a bit more dominant on the page. Good luck with the rest of the assignment!
