1. This photgrapgh shows how the pandemic affected population in Argentina, how hard the impacts were on the people. It was posted on a newspaper called France 24, on october the first 2020.

  • The photograph above shows a man holding a sign that says “Basta de Cuarentena”. This photo was taken in Argentina in 2021 and was published in a DW article. It shows this man's opinion on the quarantine, which is relatable to a lot of people and how Argentina is the country with the longest quarantine. The people want the quarantine to end so that they can return to their normal lives.
    • 2. The photo would be extremely relevant to the study of Argentina in 2021 because of what it represents and the background behind the image. Argentina is the single country with the longest quarantine, which lasted over 160 days. This image is just one of many that portray how the population was affected and was dealing with the "quaranternity".
    3. It reflects the reality of the situation in the country and how the population is tired of quarantining. However, it may reflect a perspective of the current reality, reality from one point of view. Perhaps reality is different from another point of view.

It was published in "buenos Aires Ciudad" website. In the image it can be seen people who are suing the public transport, and who are required to show a  permit in order to circulate.

It shows what was aloud and working, such as the bus, but shows how the government regulated its use by checking every passenger had its permit. Besides, it makes evident the use of the mask was still firm in Buenos Aires at the time.

It is not completely certain, as some aspects pf reality are shown in the picture, but not reality as a whole, as even dough they were regulations to circulate and permits were needed, there were often not respected as not so many people were asking for the permits.     In this picture, posted on February 2021, we can see people demonstating in front of the government house, because a situation that had happened. During those days, there have been people who coulnd't be vaccined being vaccinated. In the poster we can see that someone wrote "Gobierno mentiroso, ladrones, fuera", which means "Liar government, thiefs, out!" By seeing this picture we can see that the situation of the COVID-19 pandemic is not being managed well by the government and we can see the government's corruption.

    This picture is relevant for the study of "Argentina 2021" because by watching this, in some years, people will get to know that during this year, people was not happy with the government's management of the pandemic and that the government was taking some decisions which were not correct.

    I believe that this picture shows the reality of a majority of the people in Argentina as it is known that most of the people is not happy at all with the government's management of the situation. People are hungry, they cannot work and Argentina is going through a crisis, and most of the people know it and are demonstrating because they want to put and end to such measurements.

In the photo we can clearly see a  woman with an Argentine flag tied around her neck and with a sign that says that “the vaccine is not a privilege”. With this image we can understand that there is a protest about this theme.

The image shows a man in his 20's with a mask on carrying a cart, representing a "cartonero," a well known term for people that collects cartboard and other materials from the streets. It is also very clear the effort he needs to put into that work as it is not an easy task, visible in all the things that are in the cart he is carrying.
    I believe it is an excellent image that represents and demonstrates what Argentina is going through in 2021 because it is the new reality that the pandemic, represented through the mask, has brought to many citizens. Therefore, this image which is published together with a study made by UCA, express the major probles that the country is facing, COVID, poverty and unemployment. SO, if people were to study Argentina in 2021, they would be able to conclude that the pandemic brought poverty, unemployment and unhealthy conditions.
    Although it is useful and valuable to understand this period of time, it does not reflect reality 100% as it is not the majority of the citizens that are in a situation like this. Anyways, it does reflect the reality that is waiting many people if the pandemic does not stop and there are no improvements.
