The English caused King Philip's war by treating the Native Americans like second-class citizens. They ignored testimonies by Native Americans unless the testimony benefitted them. The English would get Native Americans drunk then cheat them out of their land, for a fraction of what the land is worth. The English's cattle and horses ruined Native American crops because the English didn't use fences on their land. The colonists believed it was caused by the Native Americans being uncivilized and not ready to be converted to Christianity by zealous priests. Also, the French were exasperating the Native Americans against the English.

I think the cause of King Phillip's War was mostly the fault of the English not considering the equality of them and the natives. They came to New England and gave diseases to the Natives Americans that ended up wiping out the majority of their people. They also came with new weapons never seen before by the Natives, and started to Christianize them and give them"white customs". The Natives were generally scared by these actions. They weren't sure of the English's intentions, and felt attacked. They felt threatened by the English, because they weren't treating them like equal people.

I believe that it was the fact that was never true peace between them, and that they loved in fear that the other person would attack their settlements. Once the English were accused of injuring Sachem Philip and the rest of the tribes stock and cattle, peace between them ended. The Native Americans needed to find a reason that something would happen to their stock and cattle, they didn't think that it was a wild animal or a pack of wild animals, they thought it was the English. It also was the English's fault for teaching the Native Americans how to use guns and fix them, if they broke. Also they taught them their methods of war, which could have helped the Native Americans defeat the English. I think it was both the English and the Native Americans fault that the King Philip's War of 1675 occurred.

I think King Philip's War was mainly caused by the English taking advantage of their power. They had the power to take land from the Indians forcefully, and when they did this they upset and offended the Indians. They also used their power to disregard any problems or concerns the Indians presented to them. These choices and actions caused the Indians to grow angry with the English, and after no compromise could be made the war began. Although the Native Ameicans were provoked in many ways by the English, it was the fault of both groups that no compromise was made, and therefore the war began as a result of the actions of both the. Native Americans and the British colonists.

King Phillips War was caused by the English encroaching on the Native American's land and not compromising with them. The native Americans got mad and attacked the English. The French were also not good for the English because the French were only planning on staying in America only for trade, so the Native Americans and French were allies in this fight. The natives used gorilla warfare in this fight which the English where not accustomed to.

King Phillip's war was caused by the combination of; the English encroaching on the Native American's land, the French gaining the trust and alliance with the Natives in the area around New England, and the amount of disagreements between the Colonist government and the Native Sachems. The colonists were cheating the Americans out of their land to the point where they didn't have much left. The colonists also forced their religion on the Americans and molded the laws so that they could only benefit the English colonists in court.
