It was about the main character Niki, Niki is trying to save a group of dogs, and she had to hide them in her house, without her parents knowing, she also has a group of friends that also have to take care of the dogs, and she has to hide them in school then her friends would pick the dogs up. The problem in the book was that all of the cages in the dog adoption shop was all taken. So instead of keeping the dogs in the pet shop, they kept the dogs in Niki and her friends house until people adopted the dogs. And they were planning to close down the science club. It's up to Nikki to save  it. I'm reading this book because I have read one other book that recommended Ruby Redfort the series and I have already read another Ruby Redfort book and I enjoyed it. The series is mainly about mysteries and ruby Redfort breaking them. So far I've read the part where Ruby's Family got a Butler and they also got robbed and there was a strange and mysterious call from a strange person which led her to spectrum.  Then she had to find about Agent lopez but because her boss thought she failed so she fired her but she later found out why she died.
