We are currently in the process of testing various materials to ensure the durability and quality of our card game, "Grab for Win." This involves evaluating different types of cardstock for thickness, texture, and flexibility, as well as testing inks and finishes for vibrancy and longevity. Alongside material testing, we are actively discussing and finalizing the design elements of the cards. This includes selecting fonts, colors, and artwork that not only enhance the visual appeal but also improve readability and gameplay experience. Feedback from our initial presentations is guiding these decisions, helping us create a polished and engaging final product.

FINALIZING OUR PROTOTYPE

To finish our prototype for "Archigrab," we took a hands-on approach using readily available materials. We printed the card designs on normal paper, ensuring each card was accurately represented. For the central object, which we plan to 3D print, we improvised by using a glue bottle as a placeholder to represent our drawing tube. This allowed us to simulate the full gameplay experience while we wait for the final 3D-printed piece. This resourceful method enabled us to complete the prototype efficiently and begin playtesting immediately.
