         <description><![CDATA[<div>Tomorrow’s Joe was an anime that ran from 1970 to 1971. It is said to be like the “anime version of Rocky” (Top 10 Anime of the 70's). The main character, Joe Yabuski, lives in Tokyo’s slums where he fights local gangs. After ending up in prison, Joe is introduced to a boxer named Rikiishi Tooru who spikes Joe’s interest in the sport. When Joe gets out, he takes on boxing professionally.</div><div><br></div>]]></description>

Madhouse is known for some of the most popular anime of the 2000’s including: Hunter x Hunter, Death Note, and Monster. They are a big reason why anime is so popular in North America, today (The History of Anime).</div>]]></description>
