He is basically making fun of women.

My personal views on both C's lecutre and Emma Goldnan's essay is that I agree with Emma's essay because it is fighting for the idea that you don't need to be married to a man for the relationship to work out. I don't agree with C's lecture due to the fact that he is mocking women and other men are glorifying him because they believe they always have the upper hand and have a certain power over women. The way I see this discussion relevant to today's time is because there is still other men that believe in teh same belief that C does.

The way I see this image is that immigrants during this time period had to make the most of what they were given for themselves and their families. As well as the jobs that they would work, didn't probably give them the necessary pay or pay at all due to the fact that they were immigrants in a foreign country where they didn't know any better.
Connecting it to the border's monologue, the italian immigrants situation best fits the poem especially in the very first line "to move or not to move: that is the question." considering that that was what they were dealing with and thought about moving or not majority of the time becuae of the way they were all cramped in a room and their babies weren't being raised in the most cleanest environment ever. Crowded rooms often time can also lead to sicknesses. The fields of inquiry that best matches this picture is culture, identity, and community because of how they felt lost in a new place with people that would barely help them at all.

Charles Dickens set up his story and let readers know that Marley is dead to create a suspense for readers as they begin to read the book. As well as Scrooge being so cold and unfeeling so readers become more curious as to why he is the way that he is. Readers might need to know these things to understand the story so they can get to the main conflict of the story maybe. A prediction I have of the story is that maybe Scrooge has a bad reputation and that's why no one likes to get near him or maybe he's done things in the past.
