Organized to solidify IT concepts and develop algorithmic thinking skills, the Furniture and Interior Design Department students showcased their talents in a field seemingly far removed from their course content.

The fundamental meaning and significance of the holiday can be summarized as follows:

National Sovereignty and Independence: The Republic is the greatest achievement of the Turkish nation's passion for freedom and the ideal of independence won in the War of Independence. With this form of government, sovereignty was taken from the palace and given directly to the people.

The Embodiment of the Will of the People: Meaning "government by the people," the Republic ensured that the will of the people had a say in governance.
