Resources are not spread out equally among all the countries and some countries just have more of a specific resource than others do. There is no country that starts off with all the resources they need.

One of the observations that I saw, was that some countries have an enormous amount of abundance for a resource, that to produce it, they go way too far to keep their workers producing the resource like taking meth to keep farmers awake.

I also learned that earth’s resources can cause huge effects in the world. When palm oil is abundant, they will cut countless amount of trees and will cause deforestation and global warming. Earth resource is not only scarce, it is deadly if is misused.

I have also noticed that the world’s economy is also very centered around natural resources, and their abundance in places and their scarcity in other places. A majority of countries with an abundance of something export it, while countries with a scarcity tend to do a lot of importing of that resource, and that’s common around the world.

Rich countries with a resource scarcity will import more recourses. If countries with a scarcity can’t find exporters, they will find alternatives or use less resources.
