         <description><![CDATA[<div><br></div><div><br></div><div>Words usually combine together to<br>create one idea. For example: go to the store, have a cup of tea. These thought groups are usually grammatically connected: verb + preposition + noun (apply for a program)</div><div><br><br><br></div><div>If you speak the words separately,<br>you don’t express the idea that the thought group expresses. When you speak, you must take short breaks between thought groups so that your listeners can follow what you want to express.<br><br><br></div><div>Here are more examples of how thought groups come together: </div><div>- Verb + object (have a cup of tea)<br><br></div><div>- Article + adj + noun (the<br>beautiful sunset)<br><br></div><div>- Article + adv + adj + noun (the<br>incredibly difficult homework)<br><br></div><div>- Prep + adj + noun + prep + art +<br>noun (from different parts of the world)<br><br></div>]]></description>
