The first day of school was certainly more different than any other year. It can be a little stressful just like every other year when getting into a new class with new teachers, but again it happens every year and I turn out fine in the end. The first day of school was in some ways boring and some ways exciting first off it was on zoom which always makes me sleepy for some reason so that was kinda boring but the exciting part was that i got to see al my friends.

My first day of school overall met my expectations. It was disappointing not being able to converse with my friends or have the in-person experience, but I am glad we are staying safe and I am sure we will still have a very good and educational time on zoom.

This verse is ver meaningful to me about 9 years a ago we had a house fire and it was hard to endure and watch as we had to move out of our home for a while. One day we received a letter from a lady who worked at the front office of my school. Inside was this verse and a picture of a beautiful tree. Even though times around us may be hard if we put our roots and trust in him, he will always provide.- Big Jonah

The part of the verse that really stood out to me was the line “Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him” I see this line a lot in the Bible and it’s been really working in my life. Thats what stood out to me most about this verse. I also like the word choice when it says “rooted” I think that is a great way of explaining how your relationship with Christ should be, it should be rooted deep within your heart so that it will never break or fall apart. -Michaela

I think this verse said we should have determination and not let deception affect us. God will believe you are determined and help you to defeat sin. Paul makes a grand statement about the believer's walk with Christ. Everything right now is really hard to go over, but if you try your best and go forward , God will follow you and support you. He will not let any deception affect on you.

This verse is a good reminder that in order to truly walk with God, we should let him into all parts of our lives. I think I tend to want to isolate my stress over school plans and bad habits from the rest of my life, but as the verse indicates, God is able to transcend all of that and change me for the better through it.

This verse communicates to me that in everything we do, we need to remain rooted in Christ and in our faith. I think choir is a form of worship; we do this to praise God and display our passion for music that He has given us together and we have to remember that. I’ve come to learn that using our God given abilities and staying rooted in Him is a precious form of worship that is definitely present in choir.

I would like to have as a norm in choir is that we listen to music. Even if we can’t sing, we could at least be listening to different genres and types of music. Another thing that might be fun to have as a norm would be those music doodles, i really liked doing the music doodles. Maybe the last thing i would want as a classroom norm would be to have group activities? Like group google doc assignments or something like that? Just something to get people to talk to eachother, ice breaker activities would be awesome also. Those are my norm wishes
