Both the Teacher on duties arrived on time to monitor the morning Study and found few students sleeping. Other observations shared in morning assembly regarding the student's behavior in the morning. All the students were present during morning study EXCEPT following students.

5. All the selected games players were asked to meet Namgay sir. Yet those students who were indulged in discipline issues were not needed.

Few students were found visiting toilet during SUPW, so they were requested to refrain from doing it.

Meals of the Day

Breakfast- Chana fried rice with pumpkin soup.

Lunch- Plain rice, Kewa Datshi and Dalh along with egg.

Dinner- Plain rice with potatoes curry and dahl

All the meals were served sufficiently and well cooked.

The morning assembly was conducted smoothly, with a few announcements made.
SUPW (Socially Useful Productive Work) activities were carried out as usual.
            
Meals

All three meals were sufficient for all students.
The menu included mixed vegetable curry with dhal for both lunch and dinner, and fried rice for breakfast.
Note: A few girls were observed skipping lunch.
                                                                .General Remarks:
No significant issues were reported during the day. All activities were conducted as scheduled.

1. Acknowledged the Speaker Pem Dorji Jimba who delivered the Dzongkha Speech

 and Chandra Maya delivered the speech very well on social intelligence theme.

2. Recognized the top three classes for securing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the classroom decoration competition.

1. Students were reminded to utilize the time and study well during study hours and not to sleep during study hours.

2. Informed the students that evening scouts activities will be suspended, and the closing ceremony will be conducted on the 1^st of Nov

·         Observations:  

1. Boys take more time when they visit the washroom.

2. Girls sleeping during study time.

3. Classes 9 and 11 science were allowed to attend Zoom on Inter-Schools STEM Exhibition.

4. Boys were briefed by the principal before dinner therefore dinner was served a little late for boys while girls had their dinner on time and went for their night study.

·         Meals: All three meals served to the students were reported to be sufficient. The meal menu for the day included:

1. Morning: Fried rice, and dal

2. Lunch: Rice with mixed vegetable curry accompanied by Channa Dal.

3. Dinner: Rice with mixed vegetables served with Dal.

·         Evening study observations: There were 4 girls and one boy on leave.

Observations: During the morning study session, almost 80% of students were studying and 20% were sleeping frequently.

All the class cleaners had cleaned the classroom neatly, but a few left without emptying the dustbin, so they were asked to do it and they did. Assembly is conducted in the MPH.

Announcement made:

Participates for Gyalsay Mathematics Award to report to ICT lab as per time shared.

Boarder students will do their hostels cleaning in the morning after breakfast.

Reminded all boys to keep hair short and will be checking on Monday (28/10/2024).

Principal shared about the change in school timings.

Evening study’s observations: all the boys and girls were present for the evening study except those in leave. All the students are meaningfully engaged in completing homework and doing revision.

Good practiced:

Most of the students came for meals on time, but a few were 10 minutes late.

All the students had meals in the hall.

Suggestions:

If there is installation of temporary light in the corridor where class 9 and 11 studied, then it would benefit some students who really want to study outside. We could see most of the students wanted to study outside.

Dining hall was cleaned well and the day went well after dinner at 8 pm.

1. Award committe request for nomines for various discipline to be submitted for award night as soon as possible by staff as well as students.

2. Re-arrangment right after examination and students to have a normal class thereafter for class 8, 10 and 12. Further, Dhan Kumar to make sure to place a furnitures of furniture room.

3. There will be sorig-zheney for both boarders and dayscholars right after the 5th period today. You will be given 10 minutes to get ready and settle down in the assembly ground. Which means boarder students will not have sorig-zheney on Saturday instead will be engaged in other activities, while prayers will be call off.

4. Interested students who want to participate for Gyelsey award, class captains to give the name list to lop Cheten

Other activities were as usual, the classes 8, 10, 12 students have ended their exam and resume their normal class.
