Due to the climate in that area, there was constant rain, wind, and seismic activity. As the rain would hit the group of rocks it would follow the outcropping of the limestone. When this would happen there would be erosion. For 270 million years this would happen. Rivers would form and only the strongest part of the rock would stand.
