Give students an opportunity at the end of class - 10 minutes- to go to Prodigy, KhanAcademy, or Ready Math to further enhance what they learned or reinforce concepts from the day.<br>2. Have students access Canvas at the beginning of the period to get their learning target and remind them of the schedule (I am currently a Tennis shoe teacher so having the Learning Target on the board is not ideal).<br>3. On review days/review time for assessments have students use the 3 options above, or another website they have found with approval, to review concepts and get extra practice to enhance their connections.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The article talked about not letting tech make it easy.  <br>#1 Give the students 2 choices (content specific example: what animal is more dangerous on the Nile for Humans, hippos or crocs?) and depending on which choice, make them choose the other so they practice critical thinking and that will make their own arguments stronger.<br>#2 Open Ended questions where the students can state their opinion is more valuable to instruction.<br>#3 Learning targets are more important than tech.  If the tech won't help achieve it, then don't use it.</div>]]></description>

It can enhance learning, add to learning, present learning in a new way, share learning in new ways, offer opportunities for collaboration in new ways, but it does not replace good teaching or guide students to use these apps in meaningful and appropriate ways,. That can only be done through teacher guidance and good instruction. The successful use of technology lies in the hands of the teacher. </div>]]></description>
