With the increasing incentives to plant cotton, farmers and plantations owners had more of a reason to own slaves, sell slaves, breed slaves, or trade slaves. This severely impacted the racial views people had and still have today of people with differing colors of skin. Negative impact to say the least. </div>]]></description>
