Psychodynamics was founded by Sigmund Freud. He focused more on the unconscious mind. He created new ways to treat patients with unconscious minds. Also, Freud interpreted dreams, created desires, and resolved conflicts. Freud was the original founder of psychodynamics but Jung (1964), Alder (1927), and Erikson (1950) based their ideas of psychodynamics off our Freud's.

McLeod, Saul.

Freud proposed a vertical and hierarchical architecture of human consciousness: the conscious mind, the preconscious, and the unconscious mind.
