They should invest in the healthcare industry. This is because a better healthcare system results in better health for people which allows the labour, factor of production to be alot more efficient. This is because workers can take lesser sick leaves and this results in goods and services being produced faster.

However the downside of this is that other industries such as technology will not be able to progress at a faster rate and this together with other forms of capital can slow down production as lesser capitol results in lower production of goods and services overall.

By increasing the general level of education and training of workers through courses and on the job training, hence an increase in the quality of labour.

Investment in technology for producing goods

technological progress: done thru upskilling, transfering of tech thru direct aid/ foreign direct investment. Improves quality of FoPs, thus increasing productivity and productive capacity. When economi produces more goods n services, there is outward shift. Limitations: improve quality not quantity; both is needed (FoPs). Not allocatively efficient for developing countries since they need to fulfill immediate n basic needs like food n shelter.

2. acculumation of capital goods

Production of new capt. goods over and above those used for replacement. It promotes growht and a higher future standard of living because of greater economic growth in the future to satisfy future needs n wants. More capital goods for production. Limitations: lower current standard of living as less resources are allocated to produce consumer goods. It may not be allocatively efficient for developed countries.

Thus, technological progress is more efffective; lesser trade-offs and limitations.
