He commanded the decisive role in the battle, mainly because he commanded the force that advanced over seven miles on the first day of the battle.&nbsp;<br>Rawlinson helped lead the allies to victory in the Battle of Amiens. Henry Rawlinson specialized in deceiving the Germans with false messages. By doing that, it helped the Allies.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The outcome of the battle is that the Allies won and gained momentum, which caused them to launch an offensive. Germany was not ready for the Allies attack. By the time that Germany was ready, it was too late. Germany lost. Germany then attempted to launch three counter attacks on different parts of the Western Front,&nbsp; but failed all three of them. Because the Allies won this battle, it helped them get back on the offensive.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
